AGC of America is accepting proposals for a limited number of speaking opportunities for its 5th Annual Training, Education & Development (TED) Conference until Friday, Feb. 25, 2011. Anyone with expertise in the topic areas relevant to the commercial construction industry, including - but not limited to -  employees of AGC member firms and ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Chapter staff, is welcome to submit a proposal.
The TED Conference will be held October 3-4, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Speakers will receive a complimentary registration to the conference and one night’s stay at the Crowne Plaza.
AGC is seeking presentations from industry professionals on a variety of topics, including:
- Integrating training in succession planning
- Teaching Lean Construction Processes
- Using subject matter experts (SMEs) as trainers
- Best practices in online/distance learning
- Training on a limited budget/finding alternative sources for funding
- Measuring ROI in training
